Second Milestone of the DCEO project in Baharke!

Judy Organization is continuing its efforts at Baharke Youth Center, transitioning to the project’s second phase, focusing on the community, particularly the youth.

Dedicated to empowering Kurdistan’s youth, the Iraq Durable Communities and Economic Opportunities (DCEO) Tahfeez project conducted intensive training sessions over the past two weeks. The aim was to enhance their skills, bolstering their confidence in facing life and the job market.

Sixty young individuals from Baharke engaged in these programs. They underwent a 3-day training in life skills and communication, equipping them for effective interaction within their community while nurturing personal and professional growth.

Additionally, we offered hands-on 3-day courses covering essential job market aspects like resume building, job searching, and interview preparation. Our goal is to equip these youth with the necessary tools for confident and effective job market entry.

Upon completion, all participants received attendance certificates, and our trainers maintain ongoing contact for further guidance.

Our commitment remains strong to continue providing opportunities and training, supporting our youth in shaping a sustainable and promising future. Expect more updates and activities as we continue to empower the talented youth at Baharke Youth Center.

This project is generously funded by the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
