An educational and recreational center project was successfully implemented by Judy Organization for Relief and Development in the Daratu area of Erbil, in partnership with TGH, with funding provided by ECHO. This project aimed to provide educational lessons and recreational activities to elementary and preparatory school students who didn’t have access to formal education, specifically targeting Refugees and IDPs.

Furthermore, the center conducted awareness sessions for parents on various topics, including health, social issues, education, and child protection. These sessions covered a wide range of comprehensive and informative content, with the purpose of spreading awareness and enhancing knowledge in these important areas.

The center’s services continued for two and a half years, serving as a response to the deteriorating educational situation resulting from the conflicts that the region had faced during that period.
